Comfortable Hearth Room

"Elegantly comfortable" is what my client said to me as she described what she wanted her hearth room to be like...and I think we nailed it! The stone fireplace with a raw wood mantle along with the cedar beams lining the ceiling are what captivate your attention when you first walk into this space. Open to the kitchen and casual dining area, this hearth room was made for gathering!

The creamy sectional with its floral throw pillows purchased from Barnett Furniture in Trussville, AL give a "come in" kind of welcome that is so appropriate for this kind of setting. The pair of golden honey chairs are set across to complete this inviting seating arrangment.

My favorite features are the carved square coffee table topped with a unique wooden teak style piece that gives an organic and simple mood to this area. The centered art piece was framed by Griffith Art Gallery in Pelham, AL to give a spot of color. And let's not forget the rug that has an earthy color that grounds all the colors and tones of the room. Truly, one of my favorite projects!
