1. Choose seasonal scented soaps, lotions, and candles in hall bath
Candles aren't the only thing that can add a homey scent to your home.
Try new scents of soaps and lotions in your bathroom that can bring to mind all the warm fuzzy feels that this season brings!
Check out your local farmer's market or artisan to find scents that are one of a kind, natural, and very aromatic! There are all kinds of bar soaps from goat's milk soap, cocoa butter soap, even soaps with hints of shaved cinnamon. Check out other scents of liquid soap with a rich colored dispenser.
2. Switch out your pillows and throws on your sofa, bed, and other areas

To add some softness and depth to your bed, sofa, or entry bench play around with different patterns and fall colors. Invite in some plaids, flannels, and windowpane for a classic fall look.
Now if you're anything like me, you switch out your pillows often and like to change them out. These patterns would be great to add to your "pillow reserve" when you're ready to change out again. Depending on the fabric and texture, it could also be used all year long! Granted, I wouldn't use a flannel pillow all year long but, hey! Stripes and a checkered look can go on into spring!

3. Switch out your wreaths and plants
Mums are by far the most popular autumn plant that people put out because they come in all pretty fall colors like orange, yellow, and deep red.
If you're looking for an alternatives to hearty plants that will last to the winter's first freeze, try marigolds, lantanas, or a cabbage.
I've started to visit my local nursery and have fell in love with the 1:1 attention the people that work there give me. I'd pick going there than a regular grocery store for my plants any day. They tell me what I need to do, what to look for, and ideas to make my deck and entry way great!
